Taste of London

Can you think of anything better then being surrounded by food lovers, amazing food from top restaurants, good music .... and gin? That sums up my experience at The Taste of London Summer edition this year. It was insane.

Not only was the food incredible, shown above was a brioche... burger which was packed with truffles, but they had talks from industry experts. Let's just say at lot of it went over my head but the gin samples from Sipsmith were amazing and the knowledge lady explained about the mixes of flavours not just juniper.
We also got taught how to make a proper 'coffee' by baristas at the ILY tent, Starbucks better watch out.

It wouldn't be a food event if Oz Clark didn't appear, and there he was. I was kindly invited by the lovely people at Prosecco Doc for a 'cheese and prosecco' masterclass.. how could I refuse.
The Grana Padano Cheese and Prosecco doc event was amazing, not only because Oz ran round and topped up our prosecco but he explained why it paired so perfectly and was much better than champagne. I couldn't be happier than with prosecco in one hand and Parmesan in the other.

A big thank you to the organisers at Taste of London for inviting me to this incredible spectical of a food show. The reason I'm posting this so late.. [doesn't summer seem like ages ago?] is because they're holding another on IN NOVEMBER, in Tobacco Dock which will not dissapoint if the summer one is anything to compare it to, get your tickets here - https://london.tastefestivals.com - Enjoy xx
